Kate

Kate has been working in the Veterinary industry for 14 years and throughout this time has enjoyed all aspects of veterinary nursing. She has been with Eastside Veterinary Clinic as Practice Manager since its opening in 2018.

Kate is passionate about training and education especially with the ever changing and progressive nature of the veterinary industry. She first developed a keen interest in training and professional development when she began mentoring junior nurses. Her love of educating also led her to completing her Bachelor of Education at Flinders University. She finds it especially rewarding to further her own knowledge and skills, as well as helping the team to do so as well.

Although most of Kate’s work is performed behind the scenes, she still thoroughly enjoys the opportunity to nurse complex surgical and medical cases.

Outside of work she loves exploring the Adelaide Hills and enjoys spending quality time with her husband Chris, their son Freddie, their menagerie of animals, and tending to her veggie garden.
