Dr Nick grew up in Western Australia, graduating with a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery from Murdoch University in Perth in 2000. Since then, he has spent his time in small animal practice across WA and SA, including a year at Murdoch Pet Emergency Centre (WA) and 15 years as a senior vet and veterinary manager/ head vet at several busy hospitals across Adelaide.
His veterinary interests lie largely in internal and emergency medicine, with his all-time favourite area being dermatology. It is here that he has honed his skills in all things skin after being fortunate enough to regularly attend CPD with a dermatology specialist in the early part of his career. Nick also enjoys orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery, radiology and ultrasonography.
Outside of work, Nick enjoys spending time with his wife, Jess, and their three daughters, doing work around their property in the Adelaide Hills. In the remaining few hours of spare time that he has each week, Nick can be found watching, discussing or playing basketball, and is not opposed to trying to recruit new members for his mens’ basketball teams.
